IGD Communications internship
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 months minimum
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday (35.25 hours per week) paid monthly
Salary: Based on minimum wage plus pro-rated holiday entitlement, plus free lunches at staff canteen
Closing date: Ongoing
Location: Superb country house office in Letchmore Heath, near Watford/Radlett/St Albans. Own transport desirable

About the role
We’re looking for a graduate or undergraduate intern and who can help us:
• Write press releases
• Deal with journalistic enquiries (such as providing statements on topics like supermarket job creation, arranging broadcast interviews about food prices etc )
• Support the rest of the communications team (for example, with our round up of the daily news headlines, co-ordinate the updating of articles on the IGD website, research international events for IGD to speak at
