WE are looking to take on two dynamic interns to implement and manage our social media strategy.  The successful candidates will work closely with the Founder of the business and will be responsible for maximising our presence across a range of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin, producing blogs and other editorial content across our sites. They will also be expected to stay up to date with relevant news and information and actively engage with our followers and target market. This role would be perfect for a creative undergraduate / graduate seeking a career in online journalism or marketing.  Expenses will be provided and there may be an opportunity for paid work at the end.

About Local Campervan

We work with some of the largest Campervan & Motorhome rental businesses in the UK & soon to be in New Zealand, Australia and the US! We are passionate about encouraging people within the UK to think about exploring the UK in a campervan or motorhome.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a keen interest in using social media platforms for publicity

• Have a fair for writing editorial content and blogs

• Be creative

• Be a self-starter

• Be up for a challenge

Job Specification

• Help to create and implement PR and social media strategy

• Manage existing company social networking accounts and develop new ones

• Ensure social media sites are constantly up to date

• Produce regular blogs

• Engage with target market through social media platforms

• Write press releases

• Respond to customer queries

• Attend to miscellaneous administrative tasks (Add new attractions on database & edit existing listings etc)

Duration and hours

• Three months

• 15 -30 hours a week -there’s flexibility on when these hours are worked

• Recruiting immediately

Other requirements

 • Own a laptop

• Min 3 B’s at A-Level. English Language preferable.

Additional information

• Reports directly to Founder

• Expenses will be provided

• Will be based at home with daily/ weekly meetings
