Elite Business, Editorial Interns
Elite Business Magazine is seeking enthusiastic and talented interns to assist with the publication’s editorial and social media output, and provide administrative support where necessary.
Elite Business is a national print and online title dedicated to high growth start-up business, small- to medium- sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs. Each month, we profile the entrepreneurs who are revolutionising and driving forward the UK’s start-up scene and take an in-depth look at the key areas that a business owner should be considering when building their enterprise from scratch.
With the magazine going from strength-to-strength, we are offering somebody the chance to come on board and help take the magazine to the next level. We are looking for a person who is actively pursuing a career in journalism and already has some experience in this area. You will be expected to write relevant and engaging news content for the Elite Business website on a daily basis, perhaps with the occasional blog piece thrown in for good measure. In this sense, having a solid interest in, and knowledge, of the British business landscape will certainly work to your advantage.
There will also be regular engagement with the magazine’s social media accounts, populating them with content from the magazine and provoking conversation with followers and potential followers wherever possible. Our aim is to organically grow our follower base at a steady rate over the coming months, so we need people who are confident in their ability to do this.
Experience of using a content management system (CMS) will therefore be desirable, but not essential, along with a decent set of communication skills.
We are looking for people who are available to start ASAP. The internship is for an initial two weeks in the run-up to Xmas, potentially extending to three months in the new year.
Please send applications to email@example.com, along with a CV and examples of any previous journalistic work.
We will be in touch should your application be of interest.
