CNN Digital seeks an Intern to work in its Digital News department. (edition.cnn.com).
This paid internship will be based at CNN’s bureau in central London. The next placement starts on 1 April 2015 and runs for three months.
Interns play an important role in the daily operations of CNN Digital. Your primary responsibilities will include research, fact-checking and providing production and administrative support.
You will participate in editorial meetings and learn how an award-winning online news site operates. Opportunities to write and conduct interviews may arise, depending on circumstances.
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, strong on accuracy and be digital-savvy. They will have a good nose for a story and strong multimedia skills. Excellent research and writing abilities are also key.
This internship is well suited to someone who has recently graduated with a Masters in Journalism and is interested in pursuing a career in digital journalism. Some of our past interns have gone on to freelance or work full-time with CNN.
The internship is paid at minimum wage, eight hours a day for a five-day week.
