Your responsibility will be styling creative fashion shoots, on models, talent and still life that reflect the MATCHESFASHION.COM buy. You will work with the wider content team, liaising with buying, e-commerce and press departments taking into consideration seasonal trends alongside the MATCHESFASHION.COM voice, developing original and fresh ideas.



  • STYLE both still life and model shoots, under the direction and guidance of the Style Director, for all MATCHESFASHION.COM content across all platforms
  • Develop storyboards and concepts for all allocated shoots in a creative and trend-focused way in line with the MATCHESFASHION.COM aesthetic
  • Regularly suggest and present new photographers, models, talent and hair and make-up artists to work with
  • Be proactive in developing storyboards and shoot concepts at the beginning of and throughout the season to brainstorm with the style director
  • Work closely with the production and bookings team to ensure a smooth shoot process
  • Work with the style director, market director, buying and marketing to see what product (including exclusive collections) need to be included in your shoots
  • Liasing regularly with the buying team to ensure that all product for your shoots is accurate to the buy and commercially viable
  • Be responsible for calling in and co-ordinating samples and stock for all of your shoots
  • Oversee the timely return of all samples for your shoots to PRs and/stock
  • Oversee shoppability for all of your shoots by liasing with the buy team and wider content team on deliveries
  • Having an understanding of weekly sales reports to aid the formulation of ideas and ensure that all content is both commercially and editorially viable
  • Provide support for the shopping & merchandise editor in selecting and editing inspiring and trend focused product for weekly content, fashion features and homepage
  • Work with the shopping & merchandise editor on product/brand coverage needed in styling weekly still life shoots
  • Attend the seasonal buy and trend report presentations
  • Work with internal systems and buy sheets
  • Noting credits on your shoots, then compiling and communicating to the chief sub editor for weekly content
  • Working with the shopping & merchandise editor and fashion assistant on coding and shoppability for the print magazine 



  • A strong knowledge of fashion, designers and brands
  • A real sense of runway looks and what trends are happening each season
  • Flair and individuality combined with awareness of MATCHESFASHION.COM style
  • Confident in developing concepts and moodboards for photo shoots and trends
  • Previous experience calling in samples for photo shoots
  • Able to work well within a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong fashion and visual sense
  • Proven ability to work quickly and effectively with an eye for detail
  • Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas
  • Time keeping and an ability to meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic approach to all tasks set
  • Being diligent and careful with all stock and samples
  • Having amazing attention to detail
  • Have a good relationship with PRs
  • Be a very good multi-tasker with a willingness to take on multiple projects
  • Good computer knowledge of Outlook, Excel, CMS, stock management systems
