Law360, a LexisNexis company, is seeking experienced full-time Feature Reporters to join the staff of Law360 In-Depth, a new weekly online magazine for business lawyers. Reporters will be responsible for pitching, reporting and writing long-form narrative features on the people, trends and controversies dominating the legal news. Stories average 2,000 to 5,000 words and include data-driven investigative features, profiles of well-known figures in the legal community, and deep dives on high-impact cases and trials.

This position requires exceptional news judgment, reporting, source-building, time management and story-telling abilities. Strong communication and organizational skills are also required. Candidates must have at least a year of feature-writing experience, preferably long-form, as well as experience covering the law. A strong stable of sources in the legal community is preferred.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field

2+ years of paid, full-time reporting experience

1+ year working as a feature reporter, preferably long-form

1+ year covering the law or a related area

Must be able to build sources and regularly entreprise stories

Demonstrated reporting, writing and organizational skills
