PageTiger, Editorial Assistant
PageTiger is seeking an Editorial Assistant to join our award-winning team, working across our online portfolio of magazines, brochures and portals.
Join our friendly, motivated Creative Team and work with big brands on innovative online projects. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with loads of variety. You will assist the team in taking projects from the initial client brief to completion, overseeing design and uploading the publication to the web.
The Creative Team handle a wide range of projects for a mainly blue-chip client base. There is an emphasis on internal communications, such as online induction programmes, training manuals and learning systems. Other projects include online magazines, newsletters, reports, presentations and brochures. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to transform dry content into an online experience that both informs and engages the reader.
It is a busy environment with multiple projects going through the studio at any one time. No two days are the same in this role. You’ll be adept at multi-tasking and handling a fast-paced workflow. As a key member of the team, you will assist with all aspects of our client projects and will work towards having your own client list. Project management and client handling skills are essential.
We are looking for someone with an understanding and appreciation of the online environment. You will become an expert on the PageTiger publishing system and deliver clients maximum impact from their online projects. Good writing and editing skills are required along with strong IT skills. An understanding of HTML would be useful in this role.
As part of a small, hard-working team, the Editorial Assistant will pitch in at all levels:
- Copywriting for a variety of industries and audiences
- Liaising with clients
- Proofreading, subbing and editing
- Sourcing images and overseeing design
- Uploading publications and adding interactivity
PageTiger is a publishing system that creates interactive online publications. It can be used to create anything from a page-turning brochure to a fully interactive learning programme. Clients can either build publications themselves or ask the Creative Team to produce it for them. We are experiencing a huge growth spurt and this is an exciting and challenging time to join the team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar editorial role and the following attributes:
- Good degree
- Excellent communicator with client handling skills
- Ability to write strong commercial copy
- Highly IT literate
- Keen interest in online publishing
This is full-time permanent role based in Richmond upon Thames. Office hours are 9:00-5:30pm.
