The London team works with a variety of B2B and B2C clients on fully integrated campaigns across a range of sectors including cloud, software, enterprise, cyber security and business services

The Role:

  • The Account Director is a senior strategic and creative client facing role providing leadership to a team, working with the senior management team to deliver a creative and forward-thinking client service.
  • You are responsible for meeting client expectations and ensuring the client is kept fully up to date with critical activity on the account and for developing that relationship
  • Maximise media relations activity on behalf of the client via an in depth knowledge of team networks and recognise and creates media opportunities
  • Promote the team’s understanding of current affairs and a commitment to understanding the news agenda
  • Oversee the creation of high quality and engaging content
  • Use social media to recognise trends, provide digital insight and promote new tools and processes to evolve and optimise client PR campaigns across the business
  • Take overall leadership responsibility for the account team, guiding colleagues on how to best manage campaigns and projects
  • Play a leading role in the new business process, project managing pitch teams and delivering credible solutions to new business challenges
  • Ensure profitability on all accounts and effectively manages budgets

Candidate specifications: 

  • Highly commercial, with strong strategic client consultancy skills
  • Background or experience of working in Technology, B2B, corporate or digital communications agency environment at a Senior Account Manager or Account Director level
  • Well versed in social media and the integration of digital marketing into the PR landscape
  • A track record of retention and the profitable growth of existing accounts
  • Considered, assertive and influential; a leader with the aptitude to develop and motivate a team
  • Able to provide consultancy on PR requirements as well as broader marketing strategy
  • Demonstrable success at securing new business and increasing client revenues
