With the creation of Nottingham College there is a great story to be told. This role takes a pivotal place in the telling of that story and the drive to create the best college in the country, a key focus of the CEO.
Nottingham College will be a large player in the education marketplace with around 2,000 staff supporting 5000 employers and 40,000 students; a £90million hub of skills, training and education when the city’s two existing FE colleges come together this year.

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Marketing & Communications will be an integral part of the senior team shaping the direction and growth of the College.
Your role will be to ensure its reputation, reach and influence grows and extends, ensuring that no one fails to notice the success story that Nottingham College is destined to become.
You’ll have control of the marketing team and associated college resources, all supporting you in your primary focus on the development of a new reputation, new branding and a new narrative for the College’s customers, near and far.
There are many challenges to keep you engaged and busy. You will be given a blank canvas to lead a team in creating a striking new brand and shaping how the College communicates with employers, stakeholders, students and staff.
You will set up and exploit systems which use market intelligence to identify growth areas and work with the senior team to achieve challenging recruitment and business targets.
You will already have proved your ability in a senior communications role and be hungry to work as part of an innovative senior team to ensure that Nottingham College truly does become the hub of the skills revolution in Nottingham and beyond.
