KMTV, Senior Broadcast Journalist
KMTV is Kent’s new, local television channel. A joint venture between the University of Kent and KM Media Group, Kent’s leading multimedia company, it is based in state of the art studios at the University’s award-winning Centre for Journalism in Chatham Maritime.
Already making video news for Kent Online, it will launch on Freeview and Virgin Media in Maidstone, Medway, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge in July 2017.
In preparation for launch, KMTV now needs to appoint a Senior Broadcast Journalist who really cares about local news, business, sport and entertainment.
You’ll be a graduate with real experience in a television newsroom and a complete range of multimedia skills, including the ability to deputise for the news editor AND present news bulletins. You’ll earn up to £29,000 depending on experience.
