A leading medical communications company based in central London has an excellent opportunity for a Content Lead. The successful candidate will develop a medical education portfolio and manage two medical editors. This role is a rare find for a candidate with extensive experience delivering medical educational outputs.

Key duties:

  • Develop and deliver medical education portfolio working with experts and clients
  • Identify new business and revenue opportunities across media
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to high standards
  • Line-manage direct reports, training and developing them
  • Help commercial team by raising awareness of opportunities with clients/sponsors
  • Support publisher in development of digital assets including websites and social media platforms
  • Work with Publisher to increase profitability and represent the company at external events

Experience / skills required:

  • Extensive experience delivering medical education projects within publishing/medcomms is essential
  • Proven experience writing and editing content with excellent communication
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability and experience of working with clients/opinion leaders
  • Experience leading a team and managing budgets and schedules
  • Knowledge of website management including CMS and electronic projects such as webinars
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a life science subject
