Combined role: Editor, Agronomist and Arable Farmer / Online Editor, AAF and Farm Business.

This is a key role in the company’s large farm division.

After its acquisition by LBM in summer 2016, Agronomist and Arable Farmer print magazine has been redesigned and relaunched and now will appear 11x pa. In addition, it now has its own dedicated website.

It’s a well-respected and established journal dedicated to informing and educating professional Agronomists and their clients, large scale arable farmers. It has a strong relationship with BASIS.

Farm Business has been converted into a fortnightly online newsletter for professional farmers specialising in comment and analysis. The website has also been redesigned and relaunched and is principally a news service.

The AAF element of the role is to be ‘the face’ of this relaunched product. The editor will be expected to attend all industry events and produce the 11x per year magazine.

The online editor element of the role is to populate both aafarmer.co.uk and farmbusiness.co.uk, create and send the various newsletters and be responsible for the social media accounts.
