olive magazine is one of the UK’s leading food brands. With a top-selling magazine, award-winning digital app, rapidly growing website, weekly podcast, huge social media following, and more exciting brand extensions, we’re expanding our team of passionate foodies.

We’re looking for a new sub-editor to work within the subs team in London, who will liaise with the wider editorial group, across platforms, to ensure a high standard of editorial quality across the brand – covering all aspects of food, drink and travel.

Experience of subbing/editing copy on a food magazine (and/or proven passion and knowledge for food and the food magazine industry) is essential.

The ideal candidate needs to be creative, come up with new ideas and initiatives, and be a proactive team player. You must be a good planner and organiser, and be able to prioritise their workload; have good composure and be cool under pressure/during deadlines, etc.

You will also be competent with InDesign and professional subbing marks, be digitally literate and have, at least, a basic knowledge of SEO.
