This is a great opportunity for a bright journalist to develop their career in an area of financial journalism that is very hot at the moment. The sub investment market is seen by a lot of investors as a way of generating a higher return with managed risk. My client is a specialist provider of intelligence on leveraged loans and bonds, reporting on new deals coming to market and looking into the companies behind those deals. The intelligence they produce on deals helps their readers assess and manage their risk when looking at deals. Their readers are fund managers, credit analysts, private equity sponsors, investment bankers, restructuring advisors, traders, lawyers and accountants. In the role, you will be speaking with to lawyers, bankers, advisors and investors about deals and writing in-depth analysis to provide valuable insight into those situations. You will also write broader overviews and seek to spot any trends in the market. If you have some experience writing about financial transactions, like to network and have the curiosity to dig a little deeper then this is a great opportunity. My client is a growing company that offers good promotional prospects and along with a good basic salary they pay generous annual bonuses. They are looking for someone who is inquisitive, has some experience looking at balance sheets and is keen to develop their writing skills in this specialist market.
