Join a small PR agency with some big ideas and you’ll be going places.  This 'best of both worlds' agency can offer the reputation and gravitas of being an established London PR shop with the entrepreneurial spirit and flair of a startup. Under new management and with some very big ideas, you can immerse yourself in B2B (some B2C) with names in the media/marketing, SMEs and technology sectors.

The Role

Immediately, you’ll be part of the senior management team (part of a much wider and fully integrated Group) and take responsibility across client work and team management of 3/4 energetic, creative PRs and report to a Managing Director. Many of the clients you would be working with are cutting edge small businesses in the tech / media / digital / marketing sectors and there is a real career path and definitely no glass ceiling.

Key duties will include

  • New business responsibilities,
  • Leading the team and supporting their development
  • Building your knowledge of the media industry and your client sectors
  • Being aware of key issues pertinent to your accounts
  • Developing solid business/stakeholder relationships

Candidate specifications.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A background in b2b particularly if your clients have included media agencies, new businesses, tech  or utilities and SME/companies;
  • Tenacious and ambitious as well as a keenness to develop other team members
  • Strong strategic skills as well as good creative ability
  • Have achieved SAM or JAD level already or be working as an AD and looking to step up quickly to a more senior level
  • Have some experience of crisis management issues;
  • A knowledge of the relevant trade press (media /marketing/tech sector);
  • Client lead track record – you should be a true client partner;
  • Manage client budgets and able to meet or beat the KPIs
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills;
  • Team management experience and ability to motivate and mentor your team
  • knowledge of social media/digital campaigns
