We are launching a new, global, monthly lifestyle magazine for the tablet, called Nomad. Plenty of hard work and various wonderful circumstances have set the scene so that our readership will be more than two million from day one. It goes without saying that this will be an exciting and rewarding publication to be a part of.

We are assembling bureaus in 18 cities around the world - all of which will be feeding us content on everything from culture, fashion, food, art, war and politics - and we are still on the hunt for Chief Editors for some of these bureaus.

A Chief Editor's role will essentially be to amass great pitches from talented writers each month, and to manage the best stories through to completion. There is space in every issue for a wide range of stories, short and long. Good media connections are essential, as are great organisational skills and, of course, a real talent for recognising, cultivating and streamlining top-quality writing.

Posts are avaliable in Moscow, Sao Paulo, Cape Town, Mumbai and Shanghai.

Salary offers will be made upon application. If you, or anyone you know, may be interested - please send a brief biography and a sample of your best work to and we will provide more detailed information. PLEASE MENTION GORKANA WHEN RESPONDING TO THIS AD!

Additionally - our Head Quarters are based in New York - so we would love to hear from lifestyle writers there who may be seeking freelance work. Thank you.
