The Role – Senior Account Executive

One of the teams is enjoying particularly strong growth in the lifestyle / consumer tech space, and they are looking for a strong Senior Account Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in, and passion for, consumer technology and lifestyle brands, with national media contacts across all sectors of the press - print, broadcast and online.

About You:

  • Consumer tech experience essential – some lifestyle experience across varied brands desirable
  • Have excellent media contacts across print, online, influencers, broadcast in the F&B, lifestyle and travel sectors
  • Be able to think independently and execute strategies effectively
  • Strong communication and written skills essential as the team produces a lot of copy for clients
  • Pro active and a self starter – able to take the initiative and keep projects/work in progress

Key elements of the job role:

  • Day to day liaison with clients
  • Manage and develop junior team members
  • Delivery of PR campaigns and strategy, from new openings to restaurant reviews
  • Liaising with a variety of media to generate qualitative media exposure for clients
  • Cross-selling across food & drink, interiors, fashion & beauty clients - news hijacking and opportunity creating
  • Sourcing of third party partnerships and implementing as per the client’s strategy
  • Securing exceptional coverage across tech and lifestyle media
  • Updating Account Director on the state of play for each client’s daily activities

You will have:

  • 2+ years relevant work experience in an agency environment
  • A little black book of media contacts across the consumer technology and lifestyle sectors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of successful project management and relationships made with high-level clients
