CNN.com International seeks an intern to work in the Digital Features / Global Projects department.
The paid internship will be based in CNN’s central London bureau. The internship will start on Tuesday 2 January and run for four months.
The intern will play an important role in the daily operations of CNN.com. Primary responsibilities include research, fact-checking and providing production support.
The role will involve participating in editorial meetings and learning how an award-winning online news website operates. There will be opportunities to write features and conduct interviews.
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, digital savvy and have a love for all things web as well as a good nose for a story. Video editing skills would be advantageous and excellent research and writing skills are also required.
This internship is well suited to someone who has recently graduated from a Masters in Online Journalism, but modern journalism goes beyond just writing, and we’re interested in applications from digital storytellers of all kinds, whether they specialize in words, photography, graphics, video or data.
Some of our past interns have gone on to work or freelance with CNN.
The internship is paid at minimum wage, eight hours a day for a five-day week.
