Pharmaceutical Journal, Commissioning Editor - Careers in Pharmacy
The Pharmaceutical Journal Publications is a division owned by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and a leading publisher in pharmacy practice and science.
We’re looking for a Commissioning Editor who possesses the skills and ambition to enhance the position of the Careers section of the Pharmaceutical Journal. You will employ your intimate knowledge of being a pharmacist to create compelling content that reflects the real challenges facing pharmacists at all stages of their career - from undergraduate students to retired pharmacists. This challenging and very rewarding role will give you the opportunity to profile interesting people, interview leaders in pharmacy and pharmaceutical science.
You will also be part of the Research & Learning Team where you will assist in commissioning learning and CPD content that supports Pharmacists in everyday practice.
Applicants should be qualified Pharmacists with experience of working in or knowledge of the various pharmacy sectors. Excellent commissioning and editing skills are of course essential and you will have previous experience of Feature writing and development. You should also be able to demonstrate the ability to work flexibly in a multidisciplinary team.
