Debtwire CEEMEA, Reporter - Project Finance
Debtwire, the leading financial newswire for the fixed income markets, is looking for a driven journalist to expand its project finance coverage for its Debtwire CEEMEA product.
Working on the news desk, candidates will be expected to chase leads and publish news ahead of all other media outlets.
This encompasses detailing upcoming infrastructure projects, their appointed contractors, reporting on requests for financing proposals and financing details across the life of the transaction.
Debtwire CEEMEA’s project finance coverage provides actionable intelligence for subscribers on situations across Central and Eastern Europe/CIS/Russia, Middle East and North Africa, plus sub-Saharan Africa.
The role requires an analytical mind, a high attention to detail and a proactive approach to relationship development and source building in investment banks, law firms, advisors, companies and governments.
Candidates will also be required to produce commentaries and features on Infrastructure topics, including legal and structural developments and will assist in the collection of associated data.
The role based in London is entirely focused on off-diary reporting and reporters are expected to use their own initiative to uncover leads from market sources.
Experience of infrastructure markets and/or project finance would be highly advantageous.
The position will offer the opportunity for foreign travel and moderating at conferences.
