We are now looking for a Press Officer to support the recently established PR team in the London office.

This role requires excellent communication skills (written and oral) and a deep understanding of the media landscape, with global experience a bonus. The successful candidate will have an excellent news sense and be able to identify, develop and pitch relevant and newsworthy stories to media.

This is an integrated and highly varied role, so he/she should have proven PR experience in corporate, technology and consumer PR as well as an understanding of managing social channels. Solid media contacts are a must.

You’ll be reporting to the Head of PR, who’s working alongside our CEO to achieve the following objectives:

  • Build brand awareness
  • Build share of voice in the media
  • Build trust and customer loyalty
  • Become the authority in lifestyle concierge services


What you’ll do:

  • Manage the UK and global press office, in terms of proactive pitching and reactive media relations
  • Developing, writing and editing of press releases and other public relations materials (alerts, Q&A, briefing sheets), leveraging media relationships where required
  • Responsible for the management of the PR plan, ensuring a comprehensive calendar of press releases based on key business events are scheduled across a variety of media channels (business, technology, trade, lifestyle, etc.)
  • Research proactive story ideas, case studies, and commentary
  • Be on the ball with the news agenda, with the ability to quickly identify and develop topical and time-sensitive news stories and commentary and pitch these to relevant media
  • Work with other teams in the business e.g. data and events teams to spot trends and opportunities that can be leveraged for PR purposes
  • Managing the localisation of global releases and accompanying briefing sheets / Q&As
  • Support on the production of video and other image-led content
  • Write for and update our social media pages
  • Support on Ten Group’s corporate social content strategies
  • Facilitation of any media briefings / interviews
  • Manage and execute global campaigns as required
  • Help to manage an events and speaker schedule for our senior executives
  • Maintaining and developing new content for the specific areas of the corporate website ensuing
  • Support on internal distribution of external communications activity
  • Support on internal / employee engagement communications
  • Respond to the media during crisis PR events or negative incidents
  • Meet journalists on a regular basis and foster strong relations with the media


Although this role primarily supports Head Office activity in London, content serves a global audience and ad-hoc activity will be required to support our offices around the world.
