Daily Mail, Commissioning Editor - Femail
The Femail Department of the Daily Mail is seeking a commissioning editor to join its agenda-setting department.
We are looking for a committed team player who is bursting with innovative ideas and is alert to the news agenda, while also devising longer-term original concepts which define the department’s pages. You’ll be responsible for commissioning articles throughout the week and for Saturday’s Daily Mail, as well as Femail magazine.
The ideal candidate will be able to turn their hand to everything from copy editing to securing interviews, running investigations or coming up with talking points which will lead the day’s agenda. You’ll ideally also have spent several years working on a commissioning desk.
In return, you’ll be joining one of the most vibrant, friendly teams in newspapers, learn from the best in the business - and play a part in our world-beating journalism.
Please email CVs to Edwina O'Reilly by completing the application form below. We will only be able to contact successful candidates. Thank you.
