MLex, Business Correspondent (Brussels)
B2B global newswire MLex is recruiting for a Brussels-based correspondent to cover the EU courts and institutions and their impact on business, in particular in the field of competition law (investigations, litigation etc).

The position would suit some someone with 1-3 years proven experience in journalism, preferably in a rolling-news environment such as a newswire.
The candidate should be able to show aptitude, or at least potential, in the four key areas of writing, researching, contact building, and amassing expertise in a particular beat.
Direct experience of business-regulation, in particular competition law, would be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
Experience of court reporting also an advantage.
Mother-tongue English essential. Other European languages a distinct advantage.
The position is a full-time employed position, based out of our Brussels office. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
